In-Person Services
As our branch church grows we will work together to find a suitable venue for in-person services. Potential venues may include someone’s home or a rented space in town. Depending on the availability of pastoral ministers, either professional or lay, we will likely start out by meeting in-person to livestream the services from Hopkinton SDB together before eventually conducting our own services.
Our Mission & Vision
Statement of Belief
Seventh Day Baptists consider liberty of thought under the guidance of the Holy Spirit to be essential to Christian belief and practice. Therefore we encourage the unhindered study and open discussion of Scripture. We uphold the individual’s freedom of conscience in seeking to determine and obey the will of God. The following statement is not intended to be exhaustive, but is an expression of our common belief, which is derived from our understanding of Scripture. 2 Corinthians 3:17-18; 2 Timothy 2:15; Romans 12:2; Ephesians 4:3-6, 15; Romans 10:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Why We Keep the Sabbath
Though we are not saved by observing the Sabbath, we keep the Sabbath because we love the Lord. Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15). Love is the reason we keep the Sabbath holy and obey all of the Ten Commandments. We also keep the Sabbath holy because we believe Jesus when He tells us that “the Sabbath was made for man.” We believe that the Sabbath was given for man’s benefit. The Sabbath truly is a gift of time for our benefit.
